Community resources
IAMAdoptee
An organization created by and for intercountry adoptees. Its website is a hub for mental health and wellness: stories and podcasts, support for searching for birth family and birth country, therapy and healing resources, and opportunities for advocacy and mentorship. It is built on peer support among adoptees.
KAAN
An all-volunteer organization founded in 1998 that works to improve the lives of Korean-born adoptees by connecting the community and providing dialogue, education, and support. It brings adoptees, families, and friends together through annual conferences across the country.
